Roman Martyrology: At Rome, Blessed Rosa Venerini, virgin, born in Viterbo and founded the Pious Teachers, with which it opened in Italy, the first schools for the education of girls (1728) . Etymologically

Rosa Venerini was born in Viterbo on February 9, 1656.
