The International Cycling Union (UCI) will investigate whether the Luxembourg rider Frank Schleck , the Leopard-Trek, used an illegal technical aid in the Criterium International time trial proves that finally awarded.
The elder Schleck brothers bore on his breast prosthesis that could help in the time trial to secure his victory in a move that is illegal in the rules of cycling's governing body.
"We are investigating this, we get to the bottom of it," said UCI spokesman, Enrico Carpani .
Meanwhile, his team defense is that he used the device to maintain body temperature because, although the distance in the trial was "short", Frank Schlek needed "hydrated."
